Incredible Doctors’ Cook-off Under the Marquee Fri., July 8, 2022

Trent Hills – Mon., June 27, 2022 - The Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) Foundation and Auxiliary are pleased to announce the culinary partnerships that will be participating in the Incredible Doctors’ Cook-off. The popular fundraising event will take place on Fri,, July 8, under the marquee, next to the Trent River, in downtown Campbellford.

This year’s Cook-Off will see eight teams, featuring local doctors and a culinary partner.

The 2022 teams are:

  • -Dr. Bruce Bain (CMH Chief of Staff) & Peter Mallamy (Wings & Strings)
  • -Dr. Kelly Parks (Family Physician) & Elizabeth Aikenhead (Our Lucky Stars)
  • -Dr. Jeffy Parsons-Sheldrake (CMH ED Physician) & Mark Andrade (Fifth Local Kitchen)
  • -Dr. Elias Maraghi (Family Physician) & Ron Csenar (Caper’s Tap House)
  • -Dr. Doug Macklem (CMH ED Physician) & Stacie Royds-Kirkpatrick (Stacie Royds Personal Chef Services and Chopped Canada Champion)
  • -Dr. Bob Henderson (Family Physician (Retired)) & Jackson Thurling (Sotheby’s International Realty & Former Owner of the Award Winning Warkworth Diner)
  • Emily Anderson (Pre-Med Student) & Christine Bolton (CMH Food Services)
  • -Team Aspira Island Park featuring Chef Jesse Brown (Aspira Island Park)

Organizers are also excited to announce the Cook-Off will feature a delicious seasonal Strawberry Shortcake Dessert for all guests.

This important fundraiser for the Hospital will also include door prizes, a silent auctions, raffle, live entertainment by The Bay City Band, and a Fund-a-Need for the Hospital.

Funds raised at the Incredible Doctors’ Cook-off will support the purchase of a new hematology analyzer for the Laboratory, defibrillators and the Clinical Information System.

The Incredible Doctors’ Cook-off is presented by Maizeing Acres Inc. It is also sponsored by Aspira Island Park Retirement Living, Forgrave Financial/Desjardins Investments Inc., Janie Harrison of Century 21/Lanthorn Real Estate Ltd., TD Canada Trust, Concrete Craft Northumberland, KPMG, Rotary Club of Campbellford, Campbellford Wholesale and Giant Tiger.

The Incredible Doctors’ Cook-Off begins at 5:30 p.m. on Fri., July 8.
