OPP Report that Two Structures Burned

Northumberland - Fri., April 14, 2023 - - Emergency services responded to two structure fires in Roseneath, that occurred in the early morning hours on April 14, 2023.

On April 14, 2023, at 5:15 a.m., members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Hamilton, Alnwick Haldimand, and Trent Hills Fire services responded to two structure fires in Roseneath in the vicinity of County Rd 45 and 3rd Line Rd in Roseneath. A portion of County Rd 45 was closed for several hours while fire services extinguished the fires. The roadway has since reopened.

The Northumberland OPP Crime Unit, in conjunction with OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), the Office of the Fire Marshall (OFM) and the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario are continuing to investigate the incident.
