Two Cramahe Residents Charged
Trent Hills – Wed., Dec 7, 2022 - A drug and firearms investigation in Campbellford culminated in two search warrants being executed in Campbellford, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of cash, cocaine, a 9mm handgun, a replica handgun, and a prohibited knife.
On Dec. 2, 2022, members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), the Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant at a residential property in Campbellford.
The executed warrant resulted in the seizure of cash, drug paraphernalia, and cocaine. Two individuals were charged and released on undertakings.
On Dec. 3, 2022, members of the Peterborough/Northumberland CSCU executed a second warrant, resulting in the seizure of a loaded 9mm handgun, a prohibited knife, and a replica handgun.
On Dec. 7, 2022, the two individuals were re-arrested and charged, and held for a bail hearing scheduled for today.
As a result of the investigation the two accused parties were charged with the following offences:

- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 - in Canada
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of imitation weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Prohibited device or ammunition for Dangerous Purpose
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was Firearm
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
