Investigating with Animal Welfare Service in Northumberland

Northumberland - Fri., Nov. 25, 2022 - The Northumberland OPP are investigating a possible cruelty to animal incident after receiving information regarding a video being posted online that involved a horse.

On November 3, 2022, members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in conjunction with Animal Welfare Service, embarked on an investigation after police received information regarding a video that had been posted online that involved a horse. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
