Four Pronounced Dead

One Victim Transported to Toronto Hospital

Otonabee-South Monaghan Township - Tues., Nov. 22, 2022 - Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews are currently on scene of a fatal collision that occurred on Highway 7 near Drummond Line.

A head-on collision involving a pick-up truck and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) occurred at approximately 5:15pm. Four victims have been pronounced deceased. One victim has been transported to a Toronto area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Highway 7 remains closed between Keene Road and Heritage Line while members trained in collision reconstruction measure and document the scene.
