Looking to Build Firm Financial Base for Foundation

Warkworth - Sept. 15, 2022 -Directors of The Bridge Hospice Foundation are pleased to announce the appointment of Cheryl Denomy as Executive Director.

Cheryl’s efforts will focus on building a firm financial base for the Foundation, in support of the work of The Bridge Hospice.

-In the near term, Cheryl is looking forward to tackling the challenges of a new foundation, getting to know the volunteers and the communities served by The Bridge Hospice, and developing strategies for the Foundation to help ensure adequate financial support for The Bridge Hospice.

A 35-year veteran of the non-profit sector, Cheryl’s previous experience involved diverse health-based organizations and international development.

“We eagerly anticipate the contributions that a skilled fundraising executive can bring to support The Bridge Hospice and The Bridge Hospice Foundation,” said Craig Kerr, Board Chair of the Foundation.

The Foundation is located on the lower level of The Bridge Hospice, and is governed by a Board of Directors, some of whom already serve on The Bridge Hospice Board.

The two organizations have one primary goal – that of providing the highest standard of end-of-life care to our community.
