This Cram the Cruiser event is a combined effort between Sharpe’s Market in Campbellford, the OPP Auxiliary staff and Warkworth’s 7 Hills Community Pantry.
Sharpe’s prepares bags of groceries, fully itemized and priced, of items needed for the Pantry. Shoppers are welcome to purchase a bag of their choice.
After checking out, on the way to your vehicle you go past the volunteers and they will take your bag and put it into the Cruiser! Goal is to cram the cruiser as many times possible in the allotted time.
Often there are extra bags and deposit containers available for those not shopping at that specific time.
The purpose of the event is to help provide food to people who need it.
With the ever-increasing number of clients being serviced in our area by the Pantry, this event is so important!
