Hastings - Sun., Aug. 21, 2022 - Check out these images from the Hastings Waterfront Festival which offered up live entertainment, family fun, axe throwing, local artisans, food vendors, an evening Fish Fry, and much more.
The event was free and accessible.
On day one, yesterday, it was a pretty hot day but there were plenty of people out enjoying the event.
Unfortunately due to thunder and heavy rains the show and shine car show had to be cancelled on Sunday, but the Hastings Legion still held their delicious breakfast.
It featured scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns, beans, white or brown toast, and choice of coffee, tea or apple juice for only $8.00 from 8 a.m. until noon.
The festival committee posted on their Facebook page that “options will be explored and we will update another day”.
So there’s talk of a one day sequel sometime in the future.
