Eight local doctors team up with eight culinary partners

The Cook-Off takes place the evening before the Annual Incredible Edibles Festival

Trent Hills – Tues., May 7, 2022 - After a three year hiatus the Annual Incredible Doctors’ Cook-Off, supporting Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) is back and raring to go.

The CMH Foundation & Auxiliary have announced the popular fundraiser will take place on Fri., July 8th, under the marquee, next to the Trent River, in Downtown Campbellford. Also returning this year is the Incredible Doctors’ Cook-Off’s presenting sponsor, Maizeing Acres Inc.

This year’s Cook-Off will again see eight local doctors team up with eight culinary partners to provide delicious food for over 150 guests. Stay tuned for the announcement of who this year’s culinary teams will be.

The event features appetizers (designed by the docs and their culinary partners), door prizes, silent auctions, raffle, live entertainment by The Bay City Band, and a Fund-a-Need for the Hospital. “We are very excited about the return of the Doctors’ Cook-off,” says Brooklyn Allan, Chair, CMH Foundation. “Everyone loves the event and it’s such an important fundraiser for our wonderful Hospital.”

“We are also looking forward to the Cook-Off” says Robbie Beatty, Co-President of the CMH Auxiliary. “Previous events sold out so I encourage everyone to not delay in getting tickets. Great food, wonderful entertainment and fun is the recipe for this fabulous fundraising event.”

The Cook-Off, taking place the evening before the Annual Incredible Edibles Festival, will support the new Transforming Care Together Campaign, which is raising funds for the purchase of high priority medical equipment and technology, including a hematology analyzer for the Laboratory, a defibrillator and the Clinical Information System.

The Incredible Doctors’ Cook-off is also sponsored Aspira Island Park Retirement Living, Forgrave Financial/Desjardins Investments Inc., TD Canada Trust, Concrete Craft Northumberland, Rotary Club of Campbellford, Campbellford Wholesale and Giant Tiger.
