Two Family Doctors and some Clinical Staff Retiring Soon
Survey Results Will Help THFHT Plan for the Future
“As we figure out our ‘new normal’ in health care delivery, we would like to hear from you about your health care needs and access to care.”
In a letter to patients and the community the Trent Hills Family Health Team is asking people to complete a survey. Some of the questions are posted below.
Dear Patients and Community members:
As you may or may not be aware, Trent Hills is losing two family doctors in the very near future and a number of our clinical staff are nearing retirement age.
As we plan for retirements and changes within our team, along with continuing to deal with the COVID pandemic, we have landed in a challenging health care environment. Many communities across Ontario and Canada are also in a very similar situation.
The pandemic has forced us to work differently and adapt to the ever-shifting demands and guidance given to us by our government, governing bodies and Public Health agencies. As we figure out our ‘new normal’ in health care delivery, we would like to hear from you about your health care needs and access to care.
Please complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YS799XY by March 15, 2022.
You do not have to be a patient of THFHT to complete the survey.
Thank you all for your time and attention to this important Trent Hills health care survey. Compiled survey results will be published on our website at www.thfht.com .
Editor’s note: Here are a few of the questions being asked -
In the last three years, which, if any of these services have you needed, but been unable to access at all because you couldn’t find a provider within an acceptable distance for you?
Which of these health care services have you used, yourself or as a parent or caregiver, in the last three years?
In the last 3 years have you used any of the following Trent Hills Family Health Team (THFHT) nurse-led programs?
Have you required in-home healthcare services for yourself or someone in your care in the last three years?
Have you received virtual healthcare services through your computer or by a phone call?
